1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to The Honor Dojo. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of The Honor Dojo website, including its game judgments, rankings, profiles, voting features, and other services we may provide.

By using The Honor Dojo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Minors

The Honor Dojo is intended for a general audience and may be used by minors. If you are under the age required to agree to online terms in your location, you should use the service with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

Parents and guardians are responsible for helping minors understand these Terms and supervising their use of online services.

3. The Honor Dojo Service

The Honor Dojo provides game discovery, editorial judgments, scores, rankings, artwork, trailers, and community-oriented features. Judgments and scores represent the opinions of The Honor Dojo and its contributors and are not objective measurements of a game’s quality.

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

4. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account credentials, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts are personal and should not be sold, transferred, or shared in a manner that creates a security or abuse risk. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity of the service.

5. Community Voting

The Honor Dojo may allow users to give games a thumbs-up or thumbs-down vote for community indicators such as a hype meter. Votes should represent genuine user opinions.

You may not manipulate voting through bots, scripts, duplicate accounts, automated activity, fraud, or other methods intended to artificially influence results. We may remove votes or restrict accounts when we reasonably believe voting has been manipulated.

6. Future User Content

The Honor Dojo may introduce comments or other user-submitted content in the future. If those features become available, additional rules may apply. Users will remain responsible for content they submit and must not submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, deceptive, invasive, or infringing material.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use The Honor Dojo to:

• Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Use bots or automated tools to abuse, scrape, manipulate, or overload the service without permission.
• Manipulate community voting or rankings.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with The Honor Dojo.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or other harmful material.
• Use the service to harass, exploit, or endanger minors or other users.

8. Intellectual Property

The Honor Dojo’s original website design, branding, text, logos, graphics, software, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to The Honor Dojo unless otherwise stated.

Game titles, trademarks, artwork, screenshots, trailers, logos, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. The Honor Dojo does not claim ownership of those materials. Their appearance on the site does not necessarily imply sponsorship or endorsement.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Honor Dojo may link to third-party services such as YouTube, Steam, Amazon, game publishers, developers, or other websites. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, products, or services.

Future advertising, affiliate, or partnership relationships may result in links that generate compensation for The Honor Dojo. Where required, we will disclose those relationships.

10. No Guarantees

The Honor Dojo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

We also do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of third-party information, game availability, prices, release information, trailers, or retailer links.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Honor Dojo and its owner and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to The Honor Dojo, including an account, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, abused the service, created a security risk, or otherwise acted in a way that could harm The Honor Dojo or its users.

You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion procedures will be provided as account functionality is introduced.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as The Honor Dojo evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the United States and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the U.S. state in which The Honor Dojo’s owner resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply to you in your jurisdiction are not intended to be waived by this provision.
